What is EPISTEP?

EPISTEP is an innovative project supported by the EU "Research and Innovation" strand of the 6th Framework Programme to enhance SME participation in IST European Technology Platforms (ETP) in the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programme.

ETPs addressed in the EPISTEP project are:

• Mobile Communications (eMobility)
• Embedded Systems (ARTEMIS)
• Nano-electronics (ENIAC)

What can EPISTEP do for SMEs?

By getting involved in the EPISTEP initiative, you would:

• obtain information about funding opportunities from the European Commission
• learn how to get involved in the European Technological Platform relevant to your business
• identify how to find other partners
• work together with the major providers in Europe
• learn about new markets and ideas
