General Assembly

The eMobility General Assembly 3 took place in Brussels on 14 November 2007. All members and non-members were cordially invited to attend. Main items for the meeting:

  • Highlights of the eMobility work of the past year
  • In-depth presentations on the working group results and plans
  • Discussion on plans for the coming year and election of a new Steering Board

The election of the members of the Steering Board of eMobility Technology Platform for the coming period took place during the GA3. The election was on a stakeholder group basis, i.e. eMobility members vote for candidates of their stakeholder group. Currently Industry has 17 seats, Research has 4 seats and SME had 2 seats but it was proposed to the GA to extend SME to 4 seats. This proposal was accepted and thus 4 SME positions on the Steering Board were elected during the General Assembly.

The 4 SMEs elected are:

  • Beacon Tech Ltd.
  • Iber Wifi Exchange (GOWEX)
  • Purple Patch Wireless Ltd.
  • Targeting Innovation Ltd.

Targeting Innovation Ltd is also the coordinator of the EPISTEP project and is thus now in a position to even better represent the EPISTEP SME interests in eMobility.
